Former NFL Star Tells Travis Hunter, Fiancee: 'You Can't Complain'

Travis Hunter and his relationship with fiancee Leanna Lenee has come under some intense scrutiny over the past several weeks.
Everyone seems to have an opinion on the matter, and it's even led to both of them deactivating some of their social media accounts amid all of the drama.
Catching up with TMZ, former NFL wide receiver-turned-CBS personality Nate Burleson offered his two cents on Hunter's situation. Saying that the Heisman Trophy winner and his significant other "can't complain" about the eyes that've been placed on their relationship because they've both decided to air things out publicly.
"You've gotta give Travis grace and you've gotta give her grace. They are both navigating these waters for the first time," Burleson began. "Now as far as everybody else joining the conversation... it's their business. And by that, I mean, it's everybody else's business because that couple put it out there."

"All these clips have been put out on social media," he continued. "So people are responding to Travis Hunter and his girlfriend and pulling up old clips that you, Travis, and her put out to the public. You can't complain when people respond. That's social media. You can't say 'mind your own business' or 'keep your opinion to yourself' when you have shared with everybody."
Both Hunter and Lenee have addressed their relationship in separate videos online — but that has only opened them up to more criticism. Especially after Lenee revealed that the Buffs' All-American wasn't initially her type.
"You don't have to share everything! People, you don't!" Hall of Famer Shannon Sharpe said in response to Lenee's comments on his "Nightcap" show. "It's none of my business, but it paints you in a bad light. Oh he wasn't your type? But now, 'He is my type.' Well, it seems like your type might be George Washington, Ben Franklin, Ulysses Grant. It might be some of those types."
Hunter's friend and teammate Shedeur Sanders has since come to the CU star's defense with a post on X. But its probably best that both Travis and his fiancee stay away from social media for a while.
