Top 5 Most Annoying Fan Bases In The NFL (1:08)

San Francisco 49ers quarterback Brock Purdy was in the holiday spirit this week.

Purdy gifted his offensive linemen brand-new cars for Christmas. Purdy got each player a new Toyota.

Take a look:

Former NFL running back LeSean McCoy saw this and instead of praising Purdy, he criticized him because he doesn't think the offensive line is doing a good enough job in front of him.

"This is what I don't get with Purdy though. Respect because I like what he's doing, but what are you buying these guys this for? It ain't like they're blocking for you. It ain't like y'all doing good. They're not even doing good," McCoy said

Fans on social media didn't understand this criticism when they saw it.

"Imagine having a problem with a QB gifting his OL presents for the holidays. Miserable life to live," one tweet read.

"Is this seriously a topic on a talk show? another fan tweeted.

"McCoy was a solid NFL RB, his takes are typically petty and shortsighted," another fan tweeted.

"LeSean doesn't understand the concept of being a good teammate," another fan tweeted.

"Sometimes you gotta show people that you appreciate them cause they're doing everything they can to be as much help as possible. Are Niners OL doing a phenomenal job? Hell no, but Brock gotta show love regardless. Type of leader he is," another tweet read.

Quarterbacks have been doing stuff like this for several years so it's not a surprise that Purdy wanted to join other QBs for this.

Even though it's been a rough season for the 49ers, the holiday season is always a fun time of year.

They enter their next game against the Miami Dolphins with a 6-8 record and their playoff hopes hanging by a thread. San Francisco needs to win their last three games and have some teams in front of them lose if they want to make the playoffs as a wild-card team.
