Former NCAA Swimmer Turns Heads With Photos At Gun Range

Riley Gaines, a former swimmer for the University of Kentucky, fired off a few shots to get ready for the Fourth of July.
Gaines recently spent time at a gun range in Texas. She shared a few photos from her latest experience on Instagram.
"The most sincere thank you to @staccato2011 for hosting me at the ranch! Value-set people," Gaines wrote. "100% American made firearms. Loads/slides/shoots like butter. I regret every other 9mm I've ever purchased. Second slide to hear what freedom sounds like. 20/20 at 15 yds."
Most of Gaines' followers applauded her for being open about her day-to-day activities.
Gaines usually makes headlines for her commentary, which makes sense considering she's a pretty popular personality for OutKick.
Last month, Gaines applauded the Court of Arbitration for Sport for dismissing Lia Thomas' request to overturn a rule put into place by World Aquatics. Her comments generated a ton of buzz on social media.
"This ruling is a small victory for girls and women everywhere," Gaines said, via OutKick. "I think we will see more wins like this both in the judicial courts and the courts of public opinion as time goes on. Although he would never qualify, Thomas can still try out for the men's U.S. Olympic team. I hope the NCAA now takes a similar decisive action by stripping Thomas of all awards, titles, and records he stole from deserving female athletes."
With the Olympics set to begin later this month, Gaines will most likely have a lot to say about the current state of women's sports. That is, of course, if she's not preoccupied at a gun range.
