The Detroit Lions announced some new uniforms on Thursday.

These new uniforms feature a black jersey with blue numbers, helmets, and pants. They also have black gloves.

Take a look:

The jerseys have led to fans having both good and bad reactions to them.

"University of Buffalo Tuesday night MACtion fits," one tweet read

"Anyone else, wondering if it's the Lions or Panthers?" another tweet read

"This is what the Panthers shoulda been doing but they missed their opportunity," another tweet read.

"Lord. Totally takes on a different look with blue pants and blue helmet," another fan tweeted.

"Just my two cents, the Lions redesign is an upgrade, but all I'm saying is a black helmet to get an all-black look would take this from certified to elite," another fan tweeted.

"NFL uniforms continue to hit a new low," another tweet read.

"I'm sorry, I just personally think this looks atrocious. This combo feels very FCS looking," another fan tweeted.

The Lions will wear these uniforms throughout the 2024 season as they try and go on another deep playoff run. They got to the NFC Championship Game this past season before losing to the San Francisco 49ers.
