F1 governing body approves rule changes to its ethics and audit committees

The FIA confirmed Friday that rule changes to the ethics and audit committees have been approved by the FIA General Assemblies in Kigali, Rwanda ahead of the end-of-year awards ceremony. According to the FIA, there were three key reasons why changes were made to the ethics committee. One was "to preserve and enhance the independence of the Ethics Committee by reducing the involvement of the FIA Administration in its operation."
