Courtney Cronin may want to record Around The Horn remotely after Monday's post-show experience.
Following a weekend of NFL playoff action, ESPN's Chicago Bears reporter graced the long-running show's panel. Cronin argued for the Pittsburgh Steelers and Mike Tomlin to part ways following Saturday's first-round loss to the Baltimore Ravens.
Afterward, Cronin endured an experience even more nerve-wracking than talking on TV. Cronin got stuck in an elevator.
She posted a video while "in the midst of my biggest fear in my 34 years coming to fruition."
"I've had this fear since I was a child," Cronin said. "It's irrational, but today I decided that, we're just gonna drop this on you, and you're gonna deal with it."

Cronin was at least grateful to have the elevator to herself. She finally sat down after initial concern that any movement would cause more problems.
The Illinois native described what transpired after she took an elevator from the 16th floor. Cronin wished she had a self-help book to lift her spirits during the harrowing endeavor.
"All of a sudden, I hear a bunch of 'bam, boom, crash,' whatever. And the elevator drops like four floors. I grab onto the railing, and then we stop at six. And nothing. And now I think I've been in here for 30 minutes," Cronin said.
"Now I'm stuck, and I don't know what to do. I don't have any food. I barely have any water. You know, this would be a good time to have that book A.J. Brown was reading."
Approximately 20 minutes later, Cronin shared that she escaped. However, doesn't plan on taking the elevator again anytime soon.
"Gotta warm up my hamstrings since I'm only taking stairs from here on out," Cronin said.
On the bright side, it probably would have been worse if Cronin got stuck on her way to record Around The Horn. Having recently shifted NFC North beats, she also didn't have to cover the Minnesota Vikings' first-round playoff loss to the Los Angeles Rams later that evening.
