Sunday's historic win over the Dallas Cowboys was a bittersweet one for the Detroit Lions. Getting that landmark win came at the cost of losing all-world pass rusher Aidan Hutchinson for the rest of the season. But the team remained in high hopes and one Lions star earned praise from Erin Andrews for how he responded.

Speaking to Andrews after the big win, Lions starting running back David Montgomery spoke about how much Hutchinson meant to the team. He admitted that Hutchinson was "the heartbeat" of the team and that they intend to take his absence personally. Montgomery said that the Lions are fighting for him now the rest of the way.

"Aidan is definitely the heartbeat of our team and that defense…We're going to take it personal. We want to do it for (97)," Montgomery said.

Last night, Andrews reflected on what Montgomery said to her and called him "classy" for his postgame message.

"David Montgomery is a classy guy..and one hell of a player. @Lions @nflonflox," Andrews wrote.

At 4-1 on the season, the Detroit Lions look like one of the best teams in football right now. If they can defeat the rival Minnesota Vikings this weekend, they'll be tied for the lead in their division and for the best record in the entire NFC.

The team really wants to rally around Hutchinson and if they can beat the unbeaten Vikings this weekend, there won't be any doubt that they're the NFC's Super Bowl favorite.

Can the Lions beat the Vikings this weekend?
