Meet Erin Andrews Former NHL Player Husband (1:01)

Monday was not a good night for the Dallas Cowboys.

They were in a tight game with the Cincinnati Bengals and were trying to claw their way closer to .500 but lost by seven, 27-20. They were about to get the ball back late in the fourth quarter thanks to a blocked punt but they didn't recover it, allowing the Bengals to keep the ball after they recovered it.

Shortly after, Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow hit Ja'Marr Chase for the game-winning touchdown, dropping the Cowboy record to 5-8.

Making matters worse, the Cowboys lost linebacker DeMarvion Overshown to a "serious" knee injury and Erin Andrews feels awful.

"Noooooooo," Andrews tweeted.

Overshown, one of the Cowboys' best players on defense, has been tremendous this year, compiling 90 tackles, five sacks, a forced fumble, fumble recovery, an interception, and four passes defended.

He's been all over the field throughout the season, but depending on the results of the knee tests, which will be done on Tuesday, he may be done for the year.

The Cowboys have four games left and will need help in order to squeak into a playoff spot. They would need to win out plus have a team in front of them collapse to end the season.

They're both unlikely to occur but crazier things have happened, right?

Next up for the Cowboys is a game against the Carolina Panthers this Sunday. While the Panthers aren't good, they've been in some tight games with the Kansas City Chiefs and Philadelphia Eagles these last few weeks.

Kickoff will be at 1 p.m. ET.
