Duke guard Jeremy Roach, the former McDonald's All-American, entered the NCAA's transfer portal earlier this month.

Sunday night, Roach finalized his decision.

The former McDonald's All-American announced on Sunday night that he has committed to Baylor. The Bears have officially received his commitment.

"💚🐻#committed," he wrote.

It's a big get for the Bears, who land a former Duke Blue Devils captain and team starter. He was one of the top recruits in the country coming out of high school.

Roach was arguably the No. 1 point guard in the NCAA's transfer portal. He received serious interest from a number of big-time programs. But Scott Drew and the Bears beat everyone else out.

The former Duke Blue Devils point guard averaged 13.6 points and 3.1 assists this season. He also received interest from Arkansas, St. John's, Kentucky, Villanova and Syracuse, among other programs.

Roach started in 108 games over four seasons with the Blue Devils. Now, he'll attempt to lead the Bears deep in 2024-25.
