Donald Trump shared his plans for his return to the White House during a press conference this Tuesday. The future president of the United States revealed that he plans on renaming the Gulf of Mexico.

While speaking to a room full of reporters this Tuesday, Trump made it clear that he wants to change it from the Gulf of Mexico to the Gulf of America. He claims it's a more appropriate name given the current state of the world. This plan was mentioned during his discussion about taking control of Greenland and the Panama Canal.

"We're going to be changing the name of the Gulf of Mexico to the Gulf of America," Trump said. "What a beautiful name. And it's appropriate. It's appropriate. And Mexico has to stop allowing millions of people to pour into our country."

Trump's suggestion has already won over Georgia Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene. She's planning legislation that would turn President-elect Trump's dream into a reality.

"President Trump's second term is off to a GREAT start. I'll be introducing legislation ASAP to officially change the name of the Gulf of Mexico to its rightful name, the Gulf of America," Greene said.

That's not the only major change Trump wants to make while in office. He would also like to join forces with Canada. In fact, he'd be willing to use "economic force" to make sure it happens.

"Canada and the United States, that would really be something," Trump said. "You get rid of the artificially drawn line and you take a look at what that looks like and it would also be much better nation security. Don't forget: We basically protect Canada."

Trump will be sworn in on Jan. 20 in Washington, D.C. He'll become the first president to serve nonconsecutive terms since the late Grover Cleveland.

It's been an eventful week for Trump, who had his victory in the presidential election certified this past Monday. He won all seven battleground states over Kamala Harris.

Only time will tell if Trump makes serious changes to the United States.
