Dick Vitale Reveals His Preseason Sweet 16

We're less than three months removed from the latest NCAA Tournament but basketball broadcast legend Dick Vitale is already set to release his preseason Sweet 16.
Taking to X on Friday, Dickie V announced the release of his "VBDI Pre Season Sweet Sixteen" and tagged both ESPN and the NCAA with his picks.
As you might expect, Dickie V didn't have any major surprises with a number of teams that were either contenders for the national title this past year, NCAA blue bloods or teams with strong recruiting reputations.

- Iowa State
- UNC
- Baylor
- Gonzaga
- Duke
- Auburn
- Purdue
- Arizona
- Arkansas
- Texas A&M
- Kentucky
- St. John's
Fans immediately took to the comments to question the ESPN commentator on some of his picks, with fans admonishing him for leaving out certain teams:
"No Louisville but you slide Kentucky in there SMH Do better Dickie V," one user declared.
"How on earth is Indiana not in there? Did you see what they did in the off-season?" wrote another.
"You love adding Kentucky. They could have a roster of 3 players and no coach and you'd rank them. You are a Kentucky homer and it's so obvious. They won't sniff the top 25 this season," a third wrote.
"Waaaaait… you have 5 SEC teams in this and none are Tennnessee!?! You just just be trying to light a fire under your buddy Rick Barnes cuz that doesn't make any sense," another added.
