Lamar Jackson is already a two-time MVP, and the way he's been playing this season has him in serious discussion for a third.

After locking up the AFC North crown and posting some of the best numbers of his career to wrap up 2024, some have tried to discredit the Ravens QB's success because of his running back. Something Robert Griffin III touched on with a lengthy social media rant:

"STOP USING DEREK HENRY TO DISCREDIT LAMAR JACKSON," RGIII said in all-caps. "Henry got hit in the backfield on 50 % of his runs last year. This year it's down to 39%. He has more than doubled his yards before contact and ITS BECAUSE OF LAMAR JACKSON's INFLUENCE."

"Watch the dang tape ... THIS HAS BEEN THE EASIEST 1,921 YARDS DEREK HENRY HAS EVER RUN FOR IN HIS CAREER," the former NFL Rookie of the Year claimed. "Lamar Jackson and Derek Henry are the match made in Heaven I predicted they would be in the offseason. They complement each other and are great teammates. Lamar has the 2nd highest passer rating in NFL HISTORY with 41 Passing TDS and won the AFC North. He should be the NFL MVP."

Henry responded to Griffin's post with some humor before cheering Jackson on.

"First of all bruh spell my name right lol (Derrick Henry)," the running back laughed. "& WE SCREAMING MV3 OVER THIS WAY !"

It's not hard to make a case for Lamar adding a third MVP trophy to his mantle but voter fatigue may have something to do with it.

With that said, there are several other players who are deserving as well. Including: Saquon Barkley, Josh Allen, Joe Burrow, Jared Goff and even Vikings quarterback Sam Darnold.

Do you think Lamar should walk away with "Most Valuable" honors again?
