Much has been made of the speculation that Deion Sanders would refuse to let his son play for the Giants if they drafted him No. 1. But that doesn't appear to be the case if you ask Coach Prime himself.

Taking to social media last week Deion responded to a report that his son, Shedeur, wouldn't play for the Giants or the Browns. Saying on X, "A Lie don't care who tells it. Please stop trying to become relevant by misrepresenting my son. God bless you."

And now when the subject was broached during an appearance on "The Pacman Jones Show," Sanders didn't bat an eye.

"Who's No. 1 right now?" Deion asked. "Giants are not going to give up that pick. They're not going to give up that pick... Shedeur's gonna be the No. 1 pick [if the Giants have it]."

This all started back in March when the Buffs coach went on "Million Dollaz Worth of Game" and said that there were certain teams he wouldn't allow to draft his son or Travis Hunter.

"I know where I want them to go," Sanders said. "So, it's certain cities that ain't going to happen. It's going to be an Eli."

Adding, "There were certain cities that fit [for me]. Atlanta fit, and I want that for my kids. All of them. I want the right fit. [Atlanta] was the first time I saw Black people in positions of authority. It blew my mind. It was real in Atlanta. I had never seen anything like that in my life."

Shedeur has already been spotted playing catch with Giants receiver Malik Nabers in New York and taking videos outside of Allegiant Stadium in Vegas.

On a recent episode of his "2Legendary" podcast, the Colorado QB admitted: "Wherever things end up I'll be fine."
