A crazy rumor about several Colorado Buffaloes football players deciding to quit the team over a wild demand from Deion Sanders is going viral on social media.

The report, shared by Athlon Sports, made some pretty bold claims about what transpired with Coach Prime's roster. Essentially, several players reportedly quit the team when Sanders mandated they attend a concert so support his son, Shedeur Sanders.

"The Wayne concert was the final straw for a few players who hit the transfer portal," a source told Athlon Sports. "When Coach Prime told us we all had to be there to support Shedeur as a rapper, they were not happy at all. To be honest, it was nothing but a huge distraction and Daddy Ball was being played."

If true, it's a bad look.

Coach Prime is getting destroyed for it on social media.

"Whoever is going to make the Deion coaching documentary please make me a PA on the project. Thanks in advance," one fan wrote.

"This is the kind of thing that hurt Bo Callahan's draft stock too; just replace concert with birthday," one fan added.

"Deion making his players support Shadeur as a rapper, is the most entitled thing ever. That program is going to crash & burn this season," one fan added.

The 2024 season could be a make or break one for Coach Prime at Colorado this fall.
