Dave Portnoy isn't holding back on Beyonce's halftime show performance on Wednesday.

The Barstool Sports founder took to X, formerly known as Twitter, during Beyonce's halftime show on Christmas Day. The iconic pop star performed at NRG Stadium during halftime of the Baltimore Ravens vs. Houston Texans game. The Ravens shellacked the Texans, 31-2, on Christmas Day. But while the game was a dud, Beyonce's halftime show made waves on social media.

Not everyone seemed to like it, though. Dave Portnoy, the founder of Barstool Sports, sounded off on Beyonce's halftime show during the Ravens at Texans game.

He was not a fan.

Portnoy, who has more than three million followers on X, was not a fan of Beyonce's halftime show.

"Beyoncé has been LOST since Destinys Child," he wrote on social media.

Portnoy reposted one of his old tweets: "Rihanna > Beyoncé. Not particularly close."

Portnoy seems to be on a bit of an island with this take, though. Many on social media seemed to really love Beyonce's halftime show on Wednesday.

CBS News called it the "highlight" of an otherwise disappointing Christmas Day for the National Football League:

Beyoncé provided more excitement than either game during Netflix's NFL debut on Christmas Day.

Riding into her halftime appearance on a white horse, the 32-time Grammy winner rocked her hometown Houston crowd with a nearly 13-minute performance on Wednesday.

She surprised fans by bringing out Shaboozey to perform "Sweet Honey Buckiin'," and Post Malone joined her for "Levii's Jeans."

Beyonce did take some heat for one aspect of the performance, though. She finished off by busting out her "finger guns" gesture, which would be a fine if she was an NFL player.

"Beyonce capped off her halftime performance with some finger guns, and if I know the NFL (No Finger-Gun League) the way I think, she better get ready to cut a check," one fan added.

"Still not sold on Beyonce as a country artist. Still seems like a pop star that just threw a cowboy hat on. It's also hilarious that the league has been fining players left and right for finger guns and she's throwing them around like it's her job," one fan added.
