In her professional life, Danica Patrick is paid to commentate on NASCAR, IndyCar and Formula 1 competition.

Personally, Patrick uses her social media pages to express many opinions, including her takes on political and social issues. Patrick voted for the first time in 2024, casting a ballot for President-elect Donald Trump. The longtime race car driver even campaigned for Trump in the final stretch before the election, appearing at several events for the Republican candidate.

Patrick is frequently critical of Democrats and left-leaning politicians on social media. On Monday, she celebrated the resignation of Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau on her Instagram story, sharing a post about him stepping down.

"2025 is lit!" Patrick wrote as a caption, adding in a flame emoji for good measure.

Trudeau, 53, has been Prime Minister of Canada since Nov. 4, 2015. He'll remain in his post until March 24.

Despite her vocal support for Trump and frequent disapproval of left-leaning politicians and leaders, Patrick has not categorized herself as a Republican.

She has, however, confirmed that her beliefs are on the conservative side of the political spectrum.

"Here is where I stand with SOME current issues and politics. I am not a liberal. I am somewhere between republican and independent. I think our country should be run by someone that knows business and has integrity. I believe we should be able to speak freely," Patrick explained on social media a few months back.

"I love this country, and I have lived in other places. I believe when people of different opinions speak face to face, we realize we are more similar than different."

Last month, before Christmas, Patrick and her sister attended AmericaFest, a right-leaning event in Phoenix.

"I think one of the most important values in the conservative movement is family. Life is hard and you need people you can trust but will also hold you accountable," Patrick wrote on Instagram at the time. "I love my parents and my sister is my best friend. I am so grateful for that. She was also the one that proposed the idea of going to this event last year…. I think we started a tradition. ☺️

"Now let's head to Indianapolis for Christmas with the fam! 🎄🎁."
