Dan Campbell Has Warning For Commanders Ahead Of Saturday's Playoff Game

The Detroit Lions will begin a potential Super Bowl run this Saturday night when they host the Washington Commanders. With kickoff more than 24 hours away, Dan Campbell has issued a warning to his upcoming opponent.
The Commanders showed a ton of heart on Wild Card weekend, defeating the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on the road. Rookie quarterback Jayden Daniels was sensational in his first playoff game, completing 24-of-35 pass attempts for 268 yards with two touchdowns. He led a game-winning drive that was capped off by a 37-yard field goal from Zane Gonzalez.
Although the Commanders provded they can win on the road in the playoffs, Campbell suggested they may not be ready for what they're about to deal with in Detroit. He claims this Saturday's environment will be the loudest one the Commanders have dealt with all season.
"You can be in loud environments — ours will be the loudest they've been in all year," Campbell told reporters, via ProFootballTalk. "How does it affect them? It only takes one for it to be something goes awry and ends that series or something happens out of it. That's all you're looking for. That's all you're hoping for. So I'm glad we're at home, I can't wait to hear that crowd, we know they're behind us and it's going to be electric."
Campbell added that Detroit's fan base is a "sleeping giant for football." He's doing everything he can to get the crowd fired up before kickoff.
The Lions would love to jump out to an early lead over the Commanders and force them to play from behind. It'll be fun to watch Aaron Glenn's defense go up against Kliff Kingsbury's offense in such a crucial spot.
Oddsmakers have the Lions as a two-possession favorite over the Commanders. We'll see if they can advance to the NFC Championship for the second straight season.
Kickoff for the Commanders-Lions game is at 8 p.m. ET. It'll be nationally televised on FOX.
