The NFL's Current 10 Biggest Rivalries (1:35)

Cris Collinsworth and Mike Tirico were in the broadcast booth this Thursday night to cover a thrilling AFC matchup between the Baltimore Ravens and Kansas City Chiefs.

The Chiefs ultimately won on the final play of the game, as Ravens tight end Isaiah Likely was unable to get both feet inbounds on what could've been a game-winning drive for John Harbaugh's squad.

Prior to Baltimore's final drive of the night, Kansas City had a chance to get a first down and end the game.

Patrick Mahomes tried to fire a pass over the middle of the field, but it was deflected by a Baltimore defender. Luckily for the three-time Super Bowl champion, he snagged the ball out of mid-air to avoid throwing an interception in crunch time.

Instead of applauding the Ravens for getting a stop when they had to have it, Collinsworth praised Mahomes for "out-jumping" the defenders and keeping the play alive.

NFL fans couldn't help but blast Collinsworth for showing favoritism to Mahomes.

"Defense makes a great play and Collinsworth only praises Mahomes lol," one fan wrote on X.

Another fan tweeted, "Cowherd glazing a near pick from Mahomes."

"Cris Collinsworth found a way to praise Mahomes on that play," a third fan said.

We can't deny that it was a heads-up play from Mahomes. If that pass gets intercepted, maybe the final result is different.

That being said, Collinsworth constantly raved about Mahomes over the course of the broadcast. It gets tiring listening to him, especially if you're not a fan of the Chiefs.
