A popular college baseball star is taking heat on social media for his "inappropriate" celebration.

A Michigan Wolverines player is going viral for his celebration after sliding into third base. The Wolverines infielder slid into third base following a triple against USC. Michigan's Mitch Voit was having a big day, starting off the game 2 for 2 with a triple and three RBIs. However, he has been taking heat for his celebration.

Voit, a 6-foot junior infielder and pitcher, pulled off quite the celebration at third base on Sunday.

BTN.

Voit turned heads when he pretended to sniff the third base line. Many have taken his celebration as an imitation of snorting a line of drugs.

"INSANE: Michigan's Mitch Voit rips a line of chalk after securing third base This may lead to a suspension. Kids, never do this," one fan wrote.

It was pretty wild.

"This is insane lol," one fan wrote.

"Yoo mitch voit gotta chill thats a crazy celly," one fan added.

"There will definitely be a piece of paper in his locker after the game.. good ol 8am drug test lol," one fan added.

Others, meanwhile, seemed to enjoy it.

"It was entertaining, I laughed," one fan wrote.

"As a Vol fan game recognizes game," one fan added.

"Admittedly cool," another fan wrote.

Voit's had a lot to celebrate so far this season. He's hitting over .400 and the Wolverines are currently 11-8 on the year. But he could have questions to answer about his racy celebration.
