Meet The Daughter Of Colin Cowherd (1:02)

Colin Cowherd unveiled his "blazin' 5" picks during Friday's show.

He focused on five games heading into this week of NFL action, including Steelers-Commanders.

The Steelers are coming off their bye week and currently lead the AFC North with a 6-2 record. A win would improve their record to 7-2 and put them a half-game ahead of the Baltimore Ravens heading into their first meeting of the season next Sunday in Pittsburgh.

Meanwhile, the Commanders are 7-2 and lead the NFC East by a half-game over the Philadelphia Eagles. They're fresh off a 27-22 win over the New York Giants from last week.

Cowherd is going with the Steelers in this one even though they're underdogs.

"I'm going to take Mike Tomlin off a bye as an underdog," Cowherd said. "He's the best underdog coach maybe of his generation. Take the Steelers +3 points. Back-to-back games with 400+ yards, Russell Wilson is really keying in on George Pickens, thriving together."

"Here's the thing, their defense is terrific. No. 1 red zone defense, so even if Washington busts off some big plays, they'll settle more often for field goals than touchdowns. The Commanders' defense is bad. 28th=best red zone defense and I kinda like what I have seen from Pittsburgh's red zone offense in the run game with Russell Wilson. I have a feeling Pittsburgh is going to control the clock, pound the rock, move the pocket, and when the Commanders do move the ball against a great defense, they'll move it some but settle for field goals. I'm taking Mike Tomlin off a bye plus the points as an underdog to beat Washington, 27-24."

Time will tell if Cowherd gets this pick right.

Kickoff will be at 1 p.m. ET on CBS.
