Meet The Daughter Of Colin Cowherd (1:02)

It was a tough 2024 campaign for the Dallas Cowboys and their franchise quarterback, Dak Prescott.

They won't be making the playoffs and have been without Prescott since early November. Prescott had to have surgery on his hamstring, which knocked him out for the rest of the season.

Colin Cowherd recently spoke about Prescott when he was comparing him to Sam Darnold and claimed that he hasn't had a season like Darnold's 2024 campaign.

"Has Dak ever had a year that looks like Darnold? Not to me," Cowherd said

Cowherd was completely wrong on that claim since Prescott had an outstanding 2023 campaign, finishing with 4,516 yards through the air, 36 touchdowns, and only nine interceptions. He finished second in MVP voting behind Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson.

He helped the Cowboys win 12 games and win the NFC East title before losing to the Green Bay Packers in the playoffs.

While Darnold is having an incredible year, Prescott has done something like that before. Still, Darnold is a major reason why the Vikings are 14-2 and are on the cusp of winning the NFC North and clinching the top seed in the NFC.

Darnold has thrown for 4,153 yards through the air with 35 touchdowns and 12 interceptions. It's been by far the best season of his career.

The Vikings will face off against the Detroit Lions this Sunday with the division and the top seed on the line. Both teams are 14-2 and are Super Bowl contenders though the loser of this game will be the No. 5 seed and have to go on the road to start the playoffs.

The game will be in primetime on Sunday at 8:20 p.m. ET on NBC. Mike Tirico and Cris Collinsworth will have the call.
