Chiefs Star Travis Kelce Had High Praise For Rival Quarterback This Week

The Denver Broncos were a blocked field goal away from giving the Kansas City Chiefs their first loss of the season last Sunday.
The Broncos lined up for a 35-yard field goal with a second left but had it blocked since the Chiefs steamrolled the Broncos' offensive line.
Even though the Broncos lost, rookie quarterback Bo Nix had another stellar outing, throwing for 215 yards and two touchdowns. His performance caught the eye of Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce, who gave him a big shoutout on the newest episode of his "New Heights" podcast.
"Sean Payton has those guys motivated and playing great ball on the offensive side too. Bo Nix, holy (expletive), that guy was (expletive) ripping it out there. Playing some good (expletive) football, man," Kelce said.
That's high praise considering Kelce will go down as one of the best tight ends in NFL history.
Nix had a rough first three games to start his rookie season with no touchdown passes and four interceptions but he has been a completely different quarterback since then. He has a TD/INT ratio of 10/2 in his last seven games and has thrown for 1,968 yards in all 10 games.
He has the Broncos in the thick of the wild-card race with a 5-5 record and they'll have another tough test this Sunday against the Atlanta Falcons. The Falcons are 6-4, good for first in the NFC South.
If the Broncos can win that game, they'd be 6-5 heading into their next divisional game against the Las Vegas Raiders on November 24.
