The Chiefs have a pressing need at wide receiver and are heading into an NFL Draft that is very top heavy at the position. With just hours to go before the first pick gets announced, the Chiefs are apparently on the move.

According to NFL reporter James Palmer, the Chiefs are trying to move up from the 32nd overall pick with the intention of drafting a wide receiver - specifically, one of the faster ones.

"the #chiefs have really been working to see if they can get up from 32. The thought around the league is it's would be for one of the speedy WRs," Palmer wrote.

Fans have been speculating for weeks that the Chiefs are enamored with Texas wide receiver Xavier Worthy, who at the NFL Scouting Combine shocked the world by breaking the record for the fastest 40-yard dash in history.

"Xavier Worthy says hello?" one user replied.

"if they get xavier worthy its over," wrote another.

"Xavier Worthy no matter what," a third wrote.

Worthy was widely considered a fringe first-round pick even before the Combine. But that record-setting time will likely do for his stock what it did for John Ross in 2017: Blow it up.

In response, some fans are hoping that no other NFL general manager agrees to such a trade as they are tired of the Chiefs being dominant.

We'll see if they get their wish soon. The NFL Draft is just over an hour away.
