Meet The Daughter Of The Chiefs' Owner (1:30)

Gracie Hunt, the daughter of Chiefs owner Clark Hunt, spent her Christmas in Pittsburgh to watch the defending champions clinch the No. 1 seed in the AFC. Her boyfriend, Cody Keith, was not with her at Acrisure Stadium.

Hunt and Keith went public with their relationship earlier this season. He has attended plenty of games over the past few months, much to the delight of his girlfriend. That being said, it wasn't until this month that people found out that he's close to a key member of the Chiefs. During an interview with OutKick's Charly Arnolt, the Chiefs heiress revealed that her boyfriend is actually friends with Patrick Mahomes. They used to train together well before she even started dating the former East Carolina quarterback.

"He grew up playing football and he and Patrick actually trained together out of college," Hunt explained. "They had a pre-existing friendship. And it is just so funny how small the world is. They have been buddies this whole time and it took him all this time to meet me."

Keith played at Cheshire Academy before taking his talents to East Carolina. In 2010, he threw for 3,840 yards and 39 touchdowns. Although he never started a game in the NFL, he did spend time at minicamp with the Baltimore Ravens, Washington Commanders, and Indianapolis Colts.

While it's an added bonus that Keith is friends with Mahomes, what truly matters is that he's on the same page with Hunt. She made it very clear that she sees eye-to-eye with him.

"We are grateful that we can easily travel to see each other. He has made a huge effort to come to the games this year which has been so much fun to get to share football season with him."

Keith and Hunt won't have to worry about the Chiefs until January. Since they've clinched a first-round bye, they won't play a meaningful game for the next two weeks.

Chiefs fans are hoping Mahomes and the rest of the squad can ride their hot streak into the playoffs. If so, they could pull off the first three-peat in NFL history.
