CeeDee Lamb must change up his celebrations to avoid hurting the Dallas Cowboys in 2025.

The NFL sent teams an updated rules report with a key amendment affecting the star wide receiver. As ESPN's Ben Solak noted, the league added the "nose wipe" celebrations to its list of prohibited gestures subject to a 15-yard penalty for unsportsmanlike conduct.

The nose wipe, a signature celebration for Lamb, is now considered a "violent gesture" or "act that is sexually suggestive or offensive" alongside slashing a throat or simulating a gunshot.

Lamb appears ready to move onto the next celebration.

"SMH," Lamb wrote. "I have plenty in mind."

Lamb also retweeted a GIF of him performing the now-barred gesture posted by a Cowboys receiver who previously wore No. 88, Dez Bryant.

Lamb has created plenty of moments to celebrate during his career. He's exceeded 1,000 receiving yards in four straight seasons and cleared 100 catches for the third consecutive season in 2024.

In 2023, Lamb turned 80 of his league-leading 135 receptions into first downs. Although he couldn't maintain that prolific production with Dak Prescott sidelined for much of 2024, Lamb still accrued 101 catches for 1,194 yards and six touchdowns.

A returning Prescott should continue funneling the passing offense through his superstar teammate. Prescott and Lamb reportedly tried to recruit Cooper Kupp, but the Cowboys haven't added a big-name receiver to replace Brandin Cooks.

Jalen Tolbert and KaVontae Turpin could instead garner more targets in Brian Schottenheimer's offense. The Cowboys will hope a cleaner bill of health leads them back into the postseason after falling from first to 21st in scoring during a 7-10 campaign.

Lamb should create plenty more big plays to celebrate in 2025. He won't have to deal with another contract dispute this summer, so the 25-year-old has ample time to find a new gesture.
