Carson Beck's NIL Payment With Miami Has Been Revealed

Carson Beck was in the transfer portal for less than 48 hours before committing to Miami.
The former Georgia quarterback entered the portal on Thursday with a "do not contact" tag before committing to Miami on Friday. He knew exactly where he was going to go when he entered the portal.
Once he committed to Miami, a report surfaced that Miami's NIL payment for him was $4 million.
"The Fox affiliate in Miami reports that UM's contract with Carson Beck is a one year, $4 M deal. As perspective, former second round pick Will Levis made $950,000 base as Tennessee Titans starting QB this season," Barry Jackson said.
The Canes are giving him a contract that shows how much faith they have in him. They're ready to take that next step after winning 10 games this year and getting really close to the ACC Championship Game and College Football Playoff.
Beck will replace Cam Ward, who is off to the NFL. Ward had one heck of a 2024 season, finishing with 4,313 yards through the air with 39 touchdowns and only seven interceptions.
He was a Heisman Trophy finalist and is projected to be a top-five pick in the 2025 NFL Draft.
Beck helped the Bulldogs win this year's SEC title and get the second seed in the College Football Playoff before they lost to the Notre Dame Fighting Irish in the quarterfinals. He had to miss that quarterfinal game with an elbow injury but will be fully healthy for the 2025 season.
He went 24-3 as a starter for the Bulldogs and finished the 2024 season with 3,485 passing yards, 28 touchdowns, and 12 interceptions.
Fans will get to see Beck in a Canes uniform for the first time when they open the 2025 season on August 30 against the Notre Dame Fighting Irish. It will be an awesome game between two teams who will be going for berths in the CFP next season.
