Basketball legend Carmelo Anthony recently recalled a story about music icon Stevie Wonder that has many people laughing and some people questioning.
During the latest episode of his "7PM in Brooklyn" podcast, Melo recalled that the 25-time Grammy winner once expressed to him just how much he loved "watching" him play. He said that one time Wonder was invited to the locker room and told him "I love watching you play, which immediately drew a laugh from his podcast crew.
"We in the (locker room), 'Yo, Stevie Wonder wanna meet the players,'" Anthony explained. "I come out, (Stevie) said, 'I love watching you play!'"
For those that don't know, Stevie Wonder has been blind since he was a child. As a result, fans in the comments have either been laughing at Wonder's sense of humor, or wondering if the man has successfully been hoodwinking all of us for decades:

"Steve been finessing the world," one user wrote.
"Stevie got y'all wondering if he blind for real," wrote another.
"Dawg I know he can see," a third declared.
Assuming he said it at all, Wonder was clearly having a little joke with Melo.
The 10-time NBA All-Star insisted that the story actually happened though.
Wonder holds the record for most Grammys by a male solo artist and even won an Academy Award for Best Original Song in 1984. He is a member of the R&B Music Hall of Fame, the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and the Songwriters Hall of Fame. He is credited with helping to make Martin Luther King Jr. Day a federal holiday and was awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom in 2014.
