Meet The Wives And Girlfriends Of NFL Quarterbacks NFC Edition (1:20)

Chicago Bears quarterback Caleb Williams has dealt with an unfair amount of criticism this NFL season, and although the holiday season is in full effect, fans refuse to let him off the hook.

From a production standpoint, Williams has been fine this season. The No. 1 pick is completing 62.2 percent of his pass attempts for 3,271 yards with 19 touchdowns and five interceptions. Unfortunately for the USC product, the Bears haven't been winning much this year. In fact, they haven't won a game since Oct. 13. The franchise has legitimately been in a downward spiral since losing to the Washington Commanders on a Hail Mary attempt.

Despite being in the middle of a nine-game losing streak, Williams tried his best to spread holiday cheer at his press conference this past Monday. He wore a Santa hat while fielding questions from reporters. ESPN's Courtney Cronin shared a picture of his look for the holiday along with the caption, "Caleb Williams is feeling festive today."

In a matter of minutes, several angry NFL fans mocked Williams for wearing a Santa hat at the podium.

"Maybe he should feel like winning a football game," an NFL fan replied.

Another fan said, "Has to enjoy his last Xmas as a starter."

"I know he's young, but read the room bro," a third fan wrote on X.

"Looks happy for a guy who hates losing so much," a fourth fan pointed out.

Wearing a Santa hat to a press conference doesn't change Williams' stance on this season. The rookie signal-caller has made it abundantly clear that he's not pleased with the results.

"Losing is one of those things that really affects me," Williams said. "It's tough. But I do have the understanding of where I'm at in my career and where I'll be at. Having that [understanding] is important for me, myself internally, because internally it's tough. Internally, when tough times happen, just human nature is to do the opposite of what you're doing or what you've been doing and all these different things. The toughest part is fighting yourself, especially when there's tough times."

Luckily for Williams, he'll have two chances to finish this season on the right note.

On Thursday night, the Bears will take on the Seattle Seahawks at home. It'll be their final game at Soldier Field until the 2025 season. They'll then travel to Lambeau Field to take on the Green Bay Packers in Week 18.

We'll see if Williams can silence his critics this Thursday night in the Windy City.
