Caitlin Clark just finished up her record-breaking WNBA Rookie of the Year season as No. 1 overall pick for the Indiana Fever.

With her debut professional season in the rearview, Clark now has her first extended break from basketball since the start of her senior season with the Iowa Hawkeyes.

At the end of the year, Clark jokingly told reporters that she plans to become a professional golfer this offseason. Since that comment, she's shared multiple social media posts from the golf course.

Next month, Clark is set to participate in the LPGA's The Annika driven by Gainbridge at Pelican Golf Club in Florida.

Last year, the WNBA All-Star participated in the John Deere Classic pro-am alongside PGA Tour stars Ludvig Aberg and Zach Johnson.

Both golfers were blown away by Clark's character.

"It's off the court that makes it easy to be a fan [of Clark]," Johnson said. "I just think that's the way you handle yourself, with integrity and class. But you work your butt off, and if success comes, you're going to have fandom. It's just the way it is."

"I can't speak highly enough about how she handles herself, whether it's in interviews or just the way she goes about her work," he continued. "Obviously, she's had a lot of awards and success, but she always goes back to her team."

Aberg echoed Johnson's sentiment in his comments.

"She's a rock star," he said. "I was just a passenger today. It was really cool."

Clark is looking forward to her return to the course for The Annika pro-am on Nov. 12.

"I love golf, so the opportunity to play in the pro-am for a tournament with a legend like Annika Sorenstam's name on it is so exciting," Clark said in a press release. "Gainbridge is a leader in supporting women's sports, and that's clear through their commitment to me, this event, Billie Jean King, and Parity Week. I'm looking forward to seeing all the LPGA players on the driving range, being part of the Women's Leadership Summit, and, of course, teeing it up in the pro-am with Annika."
