Caitlin Clark attended the 2025 NFL Annual Meetings on Sunday. The WNBA young star was invited to a discussion about plans for women's flag football alongside tennis legend Serena Williams.
They were paired up in the panel named "The Changing Face of Sports and Its Impact on the NFL,' which included two-time Super Bowl champion Eli Manning.
Williams shared an Instagram post with a series of pictures of herself with Clark and Manning and a telling caption. She celebrated the event and sent a strong message.
"I love future of women don't you?" Williams wrote.

Clark commented with a series of emojis to show love to Williams and her status among tennis' elite.
"🐐🔥💕," Clark commented underneath the post.
The 2024 WNBA Rookie of the Year also shared the post on her Instagram story.
Williams has been very vocal in supporting Clark. Amid the criticism the Fever star received in her early days in the WNBA, Williams praised Clark's way of handling the bad comments.
"I love that she tries to stay grounded. She says she doesn't look at her social [media]. I get it. I don't either," Williams on June 2024, per ESPN. "I think it's so important to just continue to do what she's doing. No matter what other people do. If people are negative, it's because they can't do what you do. Hopefully she'll continue to do what she's doing."
Clark is expected to mark an era in women's basketball the way Williams did in tennis. She's preparing for her second season in the WNBA while attending special events outside of her sport.
