Meet Caitlin Clark's Boyfriend (1:19)

Caitlin Clark may be enjoying her first offseason as a WNBA player, but she's still around the game constantly.

We've already seen Clark supporting the Indiana Pacers, and Monday night, she's backing another local team. Clark is courtside watching Butler men's basketball host Western Michigan at iconic Hinkle Fieldhouse. The Bulldogs have a special meaning for Clark; her boyfriend, former Iowa men's basketball player Connor McCaffery, is in his first season as a BU assistant coach.

In addition to Clark, Pacers stars Tyrese Haliburton and Myles Turner are also in the house.

"Indy basketball royalty in the building!" the official Butler account wrote on X/Twitter, sharing photos of the trio.

Butler beat Missouri State in its opener before losing to Austin Peay last Friday night. The Bulldogs are currently beating Western Michigan by double-digits late in the second half tonight.

Overall, 2024 has treated Indianapolis basketball well. The Pacers made the Eastern Conference Finals, and the Fever, led by Clark, Aliyah Boston and Kelsey Mitchell, reached the postseason for the first time in eight years.

With new head coach and former Fever legend Stephanie White back in the fold, there's a lot of understandable excitement about Indy's WNBA franchise.

"This is the moment that we've been waiting for," White said about the impact Clark has had on the WNBA in such a short time. "I don't know if you prepare for it as much as you embrace it. Embrace where we are, think about the momentum moving forward. Where we wanted this league to be and where we aspire for it to go...continue to help this franchise be better, and position ourselves for success."

The No. 1 overall pick in this year's WNBA Draft, Clark won Rookie of the Year as she led the league in assists and three-pointers made while breaking a number of records.

While she was not selected for the United States Olympic team, Clark did make the WNBA All-Star Game in her first season.

That honor will likely be an annual occurrence moving forward, and we'd expect her to be on Team USA in four years for the Los Angeles Olympics.
