Kay Adams Clears Up The Daniel Jones Dating Rumors (1:01)

Raiders rookie Brock Bowers has a fan in Patriots legend Rob Gronkowski.

During a recent appearance on the "Up & Adams Show" with Kay Adams, the future Hall of Fame tight end talked about how special he thinks the ex-Georgia star can be.

"Brock Bowers, I was a big fan of him when he was at Georgia. I feel like he's on track to be better than myself," Gronkowski said.

"I don't think he can dominate in the trenches the way I dominated in the trenches. But just overall as a pass-catching tight end, I think he can surpass me in many situations."

Word eventually got back to Bowers who really appreciated Gronk's comments.

"That was pretty sweet hearing him say that," Bowers told reporters. "I looked up to him when I was little; watching him when I was growing up. You want to be like him, so it's pretty cool hearing that."

Two weeks into his career, the former All-American has caught 15 passes for 156 yards— which is the most ever for a rookie tight end in their first two games.

So far Brock has been everything he was advertised to be coming out of Athens.

He'll look to keep it rolling in Las Vegas' Week 3 game against the reeling Carolina Panthers.
