Celebration is in order for Brittney Griner on Tuesday night after she announced the release of her memoir, "Coming Home."

Nearly a year and a half after she returned home from a nine-month stint in a Russian prison, Griner is ready to share her story. While she's been doing interviews diving into the horrors of time imprisoned in another country, the full story lies in her book.

She took to X -formerly known as Twitter - on Tuesday night to share a message for fans about the book's release.

"Today's the day!! My memoir, COMING HOME, is finally here! I'm honored to share my story with the world. A huge thank you to everyone who pre-ordered books! It's now available everywhere books are sold—online, in bookstores, and on audiobook! Grab your copy now!" she said.

But she's not just celebrating her own accomplishment. She also wants to bring attention to anyone who is still hoping for the return of their loved ones.

"I've also seen what was done for me and I hope this book serves as a reminder for you all to continue pushing for the release of the many Americans still not home! #bringourfamilieshome I can't express enough gratitude for your support and love — THANK YOU all, for everything," she added.
