'Bombshell' Swimsuit Model Penny Lane Stuns In Workout Selfie

Penny Lane started 2024 by announcing that she's a Sports Illustrated Swimsuit model. With the end of the year approaching, she's still finding ways to leave her fans speechless.
Lane made her SI Swimsuit debut just one year after being named the co-winner of the 2023 SI Swim Search. Her rookie photo shoot took place in Portugal. She couldn't fully grasp the concept of her posing for the iconic magazine until she was on set. It was essentially her pinch-me moment.
"I'm still expecting a call to say, 'Just joking, it's not actually you. It's not happening!'" Lane said. "I was honestly in tears after I got off the phone. I called my mom straight away. You know, when I was 16, I said to her, 'I'm going to do that one day.' And she was like, 'You're crazy, Penny.' And I was like, 'I'm going to show you. I'm going to do it.' And my mom just burst out in tears. She's like, 'I can't believe you actually did it.' And I was like, 'I know,' so it was just a beautiful all-around experience. It was so nice."
While it's unclear if Lane will be featured in the 2025 edition of SI Swimsuit, we can say for certain that she's focusing on her physical health.
On Wednesday morning, Lane shared a gym selfie on Instagram. It didn't take long for her workout photo to generate some buzz.

Lane was destined for stardom from a young age. In fact, she dreamed about being an SI Swimsuit model when she was just a teenager.
"When I was just 15 years old, I had an incredible experience that stuck with me for years to come. I vividly remember coming across a Sports Illustrated [Swimsuit] magazine for the very first time and feeling immediately struck by how empowering the women featured within its pages were," Lane said. "I was so taken with their confidence and beauty that I cut out their pictures and proudly displayed them on my wall, dreaming that I too could one day be like them."

Only time will tell if Lane ends up posing for the 2025 edition of SI Swimsuit. She definitely has what it takes to become a legend for the magazine.
In the meantime, Lane will keep her social media followers entertained with fitness content.
