The Wild Card round is over, and the MLB postseason is set to get into full gear this weekend.

The best teams in the American and National League will join the party, as they'll play the Wild Card winners in the Divisional Series. In the National League, the New York Mets won Thursday's Game 3 against the Milwaukee Brewers.

That win set up a date with their NL East rivals, the Philadelphia Phillies, in the NLDS. As the higher seed, the Phillies are set to host the first two games of the best-of-five series, and the games are clearly in high demand.

According to Logitix, the Phillies have the highest average home ticket price among the eight remaining playoff teams at $417.

The next closest team is the San Diego Padres, who come in at $319. They're followed by the New York Mets ($293), Kansas City Royals ($256) and Detroit Tigers ($223) to round out the top five.

Only two teams in the playoffs have a median ticket value under $200, and they're the two best teams in baseball: the New York Yankees and Los Angeles Dodgers.

The Phillies, like the Yankees and Dodgers, play in a big market, but they've got a completely different fanbase. Philadelphia ia s notorious sports town, and they constantly show how dedicated they are to their teams.

The Eagles and 76ers are well supported at seemingly every home game, and it should be no different for the Phillies with a chance to play for a championsihp.

The series gets underway on Saturday at Citizen's Bank Park in Philadelphia. We'll see how the Phillies respond with a crowd that's eager to witness a win to begin their 2024 playoff journey.

For the Mets, they'll step into another hostile environment after playing on the road against the Milwaukee Brewers for the last three days.

The Phillies are looking to make it back to the World Series for the first time since 2022, while the Mets are looking for their first trip in over two decades.
