Meet The Mother Of Luka Doncic (1:28)

Luka Doncic is one of the very best players in the NBA and he is now playing like one after a slow start to life with the Los Angeles Lakers. Doncic excelled in the Lakers' 120-108 win over the Denver Nuggets at Crypto.com Arena on Wednesday and his teammate Austin Reaves knows why he is so hard to stop.

Doncic racked up 31 points, eight rebounds, seven assists, two steals and one block against the Nuggets. They had no answer for the Slovenian and Reaves stated postgame that there is one underrated trait of his that makes him difficult to deal with.

"One underrated thing about him is how strong he is," Reaves said, via Lakers Daily. "It's hard to stay in front of him."

There's always a lot of talk about Doncic being slow and overweight but not many mention just how strong he is. He has elite lower body strength which enables him to overpower his defender.

Teams are forced to send double teams at Doncic as a result and he responds to that tactic by simply finding the open man. You have to pick your poison when it comes to the five-time All-Star.

Reaves has been a great partner in crime for Doncic, too. The 26-year-old had 22 points, five rebounds, eight assists, two steals and one block against the Nuggets. Doncic and Reaves have led the Lakers on a three-game winning streak and they are now 43-25 this season.
