Milana Vayntrub has become a very popular actress over the years due to her reoccurring role as Lily in AT&T ads. It doesn't matter if it's March Madness or the start of the NFL season, she's constantly going viral because of her work onscreen.
Of course, Vayntrub isn't just known as AT&T employee Lily. She has appeared in movies such as "Ghostbusters" and "Werewolves Within." Additionally, she landed roles in TV shows like "This Is Us" and "Silicon Valley."
On Thursday night, Lily from AT&T had an announcement to share with her followers on social media. Unfortunately, it's not exactly great news.
Milana posted a photo of herself on Instagram with the caption: "Taking a break from this app." She also wrote, "Because it's a big part of the problem."
Comments have been turned off on this post, so people weren't able to share their two cents on Milana taking a break from social media.
Some people believe she's taking a break due to all the drama surrounding the 2024 presidential election. If that's true, we don't blame her.
Social media can be a cruel place, especially when there's something so polarizing at the center of the conversation.
In the past, Vayntrub dealt with online harassment because of old photos of herself. She opened up about the pain she experienced during that time.
"Maybe it just has to do with being a person on the internet, or maybe it's specific to being a woman on the internet," Vayntrub said, via Deadline. "But all of these comments… it hurts my feelings. I'm hurting and it's bringing up, like, a lot of feelings of sexual assault. I am just like, you know, walking my dog and getting messages from people who have distorted my pictures to get likes on their accounts."
There's no timetable for Milana's return to social media.
All we can do right now is wish Milana all the best as she tries to clear her mind.
