Angel Reese has made plenty of headlines because of things she has said on her podcast. That trend will most likely continue after listening to this week's episode.

During the latest edition of "Unapologetically Angel," the former LSU star revealed that she received love letters from prisoners when she was in college. She claims people in jail got a hold of her mother's address and sent her mail stating how they wanted to have kids with her. Unfortunately, we're not kidding. That's what the No. 7 pick said on her show.

"When I was in college, somehow, some way, these men in jail used to send love letters," Reese said. "Somehow one of them got my mom's address and my mom had to do all that and call the police and all that. I swear, he was talking about, 'When I get out, I'm coming for you, imma be with you. We're going to have kids.' Sir, take a timeout."

Reese's co-host, Coco Jones, was understandably shocked by this admission. She called it "nasty" behavior that should result in longer sentences for the prisoners.

It's unfortunate that Reese had to deal with this scary situation. Perhaps the worst part about this entire ordeal is she has dealt with even worse.

After her college career came to an end, Reese revealed that she dealt with death threats while at LSU.

"I've been through so much," Reese said earlier this year. "I've seen so much. I've been attacked so many times, death threats. I've been sexualized. I've been threatened. I've been so many things, and I've stood strong every single time."

Reese has earned a lot of fans over the past few years, make no mistake about it. She's an exciting player who averaged 13.6 points and 13.1 rebounds per game as a rookie for the Chicago Sky.

The downside to Reese's success is that it comes with an unhealthy amount of scrutiny. We're learning through her podcast just how wild her life gets behind the scenes.

While there's no guarantee things will slow down, we hope Reese can avoid getting any creepy love letters for the foreseeable future.
