American tennis ace Coco Gauff made history on Saturday after she became the youngest player to win the WTA Finals since Maria Sharapova in 2004. It was an iconic moment for the 20-year-old, who rallied to secure a come-from-behind victory against China's Zheng Qinwen after losing the first set.

Gauff took to X shortly after her iconic championship win in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia as she sent a strong message to her fans. The post also included a "petty" shot aimed at her naysayers.

"muah 💋💜 Also, I know tend to focus on "doubters/haters" but this one is really for all of my supporters! Ya'll held it down for me win or lose! I thank you for that. I see you and I appreciate you. And I know some of you are a little bit petty like me so it does feel nice to silence them for a bit🤗" read the post.

Chicago Sky star Angel Reese caught wind of Gauff's post and the incoming second-year forward just had to react. Reese needed just two words to express her true feelings on Gauff's latest title win and her post-championship message.

"QUEEN!!! CONGRATSSSS👑👸🏽" Reese wrote.

This isn't the first time these two stars have crossed paths on social media. Reese has been an admirer of the tennis sensation, and vice versa.

In September, when the Sky forward announced her decision to undergo season-ending surgery on her wrist, Gauff sent Reese a message on Instagram saying how proud she was of the WNBA All-Star.

This time around, it's Reese who is returning the favor as she declares Gauff as the new "queen" following the latter's success at the WTA Finals.
