Angel Reese Puts Hater in Place With Blunt Message

Sometimes boredom gets the better of you. Just ask Chicago Sky star Angel Reese, whose uneventful Friday night turned into a social media frenzy with one spicy post.
Reese has managed to stay in the spotlight during the WNBA offseason with her tireless career endeavors off the court. From speaking about her net worth at ComplexCon to giveaways of her sponsored products to being named Style Influencer of the Year, she's had plenty to be proud of.
Perhaps her greatest accomplishment of all has been the success of her podcast, "Unapologetically Angel." On a rare Friday night with nothing to do and the Chicago weather keeping her in, she jumped on X to hype up the latest episode featuring college basketball star Mikey Williams.
Apparently, it rubbed one of her followers the wrong way. Reese decided she had time for the critic, and left her fans in disbelief with a savage response.
"Why is Angel Reese bragging about 200k views," asked the provocateur.
"same reason you follow me & i don't follow you back. clock that," Reese clapped back bluntly, with a lips emoji.
Her response had over 100,000 views and 150 replies on X within a couple hours. Some of her followers egged her on, while others were unimpressed with her behavior in the comments.
Less than a minute later, Reese fired off another post that hinted at a twinge of regret while attempting to explain herself.
"i'm bored lmaoo let me get off this app before my team cuss me out," she typed with a pair of crying emojis.
It's unclear whether she was referring to her public relations team or her new basketball teammates in the Unrivaled league, which includes one of Caitlin Clark's sidekicks from the Indiana Fever.
Either way, Reese could sense that her restlessness had gotten the better of her, and decided to get off X for a while to stay out of trouble. So much for a boring Friday night.
