Chicago Sky star Angel Reese turned heads in Game 5 of the WNBA Finals when she rocked an outfit featuring the jerseys of New York Liberty star Breanna Stewart and Minnesota Lynx star Napheesa Collier.

The Liberty outlasted the Lynx in overtime, 67-62, to win their first-ever championship.

While many talked about the game, especially the officiating, Reese's fashion statement also went viral

Fans pointed out that it was a clear nod to the two founders of the women's 3-on-3 league Unrivaled, which will debut in January 2025. Reese already announced that she will suit up.

Stewart and Collier, who were former teammates at Connecticut, founded Unrivaled in July 2023 to give more opportunities for WNBA players amid the league's prioritization rule for those who play overseas.

In an interview with Athlon Sports, the 22-year-old Reese said she will make the most of her experience in Unrivaled.

"I'm excited for the league's first season!" said the Sky rookie. "It's amazing to be a part of a league that gives equity to players.

"I'm looking forward to playing with the best athletes and really using the time to focus on my game and getting better too."

Reese continues to recover from her wrist injury, which forced her to sit out their last six games. The Sky missed the playoffs with a 13-27 record.

With her increasing popularity, the former Louisiana State standout is expected to draw fans to Unrivaled. The inaugural season will feature six teams with five players each.

Aside from Reese, Stewart and Collier, other WNBA stars who will play include Jewell Loyd, Kelsey Plum, Arike Ogunbowale, Brittney Griner and Jackie Young, among others.
