Chicago Sky rookie sensation Angel Reese woke up this Wednesday feeling pretty down about the current state of the country.

Back in August, Reese was asked about the 2024 presidential race between Kamala Harris and Donald Trump. At that time, she was unwilling to endorse either candidate. She did, however, tell her fans to do their research and exercise their right to vote this November.

"I haven't been able to tap a lot into the political election… so, I'm not that educated right now, but [I] just continue to learn," Reese said. "Everybody go out there and vote. I commend that, and I just tell a lot of people to go out there and vote because we need it for this election."

Judging by Reese's social media activity, it sounds like she voted for Harris. How did we come to that conclusion? Well, she's visibly upset that Trump has been elected president.

On Wednesday morning, Reese tweeted, "woke up speechless…." That's not all she had to say about the results from this year's election.

Reese also said, "I'm so disappointed in America….Some of you just couldn't selfishly put your pride aside huh??!?!?"

As for Trump, he already addressed the nation about his plans for a second term in office.

"This was, I believe, the greatest political movement of all time. There's never been anything like this in this country, and maybe beyond. And now it's going to reach a new level of importance because we're going to help our country heal," Trump said. "We're going to help our country here. We have a country that needs help, and it needs help very badly. We're going to fix our borders. We're going to fix everything about our country and we've made history for a reason tonight. And the reason is going to be just that. We overcame obstacles that nobody thought possible."

Only time will tell if Reese changes her stance on politics. For now, she's not thrilled about the idea of Trump running the show.
