Amari Cooper Reacts To Getting Traded By The Cleveland Browns

In what was by far the more surprising of the two big wide receiver trades we got this morning, Cleveland Browns wideout Amari Cooper is heading to upstate New York to join the Buffalo Bills.
Speaking to NFL insider Josina Anderson, Cooper said that he was informed by Browns general manager Andrew Berry of what would be happening as the trade was being finalized. Cooper said that he's "always been a fan" of Bills quarterback Josh Allen and looks forward to playing alongside him. As for the trade itself, he pointed out that he's been in that kind of situation before so he's ready to simply "turn a new chapter."
"Andrew Berry called me and told me what was going on. As far as playing with Josh (Allen) I've always been fan of his game. I'm sure to see it up close and personal and play alongside him, I'm sure it's going to be great," Cooper said, via Anderson.
"I've been in this situation before, so that helps. I'm just excited to turn a new chapter and to be able to contribute."

The big move of the day was obviously the Las Vegas Raiders trading disgruntled wideout Davante Adams to the New York Jets. But there had been rumors that Cooper was a potential trade target too if the Browns continued to struggle.
As it stands, Cooper is averaging a career-low 41.7 yards per game. He has yet to reach 100 receiving yards this season.
Chances are both of those numbers are about to change now that he has the perennial MVP candidate Josh Allen throwing him the ball.
