Alabama has lost a transfer wide receiver to a fellow SEC team.

According to On3's Pete Nakos, Alabama transfer wide receiver has committed to Kentucky.

Kentucky has been needing a wide receiver for next season and got a good one in Law. He has one year of eligibility remaining and had interest from Arkansas and Florida State but chose Kentucky.

Law just wrapped up his junior year at Alabama, compiling 10 receptions for 105 yards and a touchdown. In three seasons in Tuscaloosa, Law had 33 receptions for 343 yards and a touchdown.

He'll have an opportunity for a more expanded role going into his final year.

Before originally committing to Alabama, he was a four-star prospect and the eighth-best recruit in his home state (Louisiana) in the 2022 recruiting class, per 247Sports composite rankings. He was also the No. 86 overall recruit, regardless of position.

Kentucky had a down year in 2024, finishing with a 4-8 record. The Wildcats were 3-2 after their first five games, which included a win over the Ole Miss Rebels but only won one more game the rest of the season.

Mark Stoops has been the head coach since 2013 (12 seasons) and record-wise, this is his second-worst season at the helm. The only season that was worse came in 2013 when he only won two games.

He has compiled a 77-73 record since taking over the program and wants to turn this thing around in 2025.

Meanwhile, the Crimson Tide still have one more game to play before turning their full attention to the 2025 season. They'll play the Michigan Wolverines in the ReliaQuest Bowl on December 31.

Kickoff will be at noon ET.
