Aaron Boone Rips Yankees Fans For Their Behavior Tuesday Night

The New York Yankees were able to extend this year's World Series to a fifth game with their win over the Los Angeles Dodgers on Tuesday, but the biggest story to come from the game had little to do with the final score.
During the first inning, Dodgers star Mookie Betts ranged into foul territory to field a ball that was heading for the first row of the stands.
As he caught the ball, a fan in Yankees jersey tried to rip the ball out of his glove. Another fan then tried to grab the player's wrist as he looked to get free.
The fans were ejected from the game and they won't be allowed back for Game 5 on Wednesday night. Ahead of the next game, Yankees manager Aaron Boone gave his thoughts on the matter.
"Not good. No place for that. Should never have hands on anyone," Boone said, according to USA TODAY's Bob Nightengale.
The Yankees agreed with their manager's assessment of the situation, issuing a statement of their own on the incident.
"Last night two fans were ejected from Yankee Stadium for egregious and unacceptable physical contact with Dodgers outfielder Mookie Betts," the team said Wednesday.
"The safety and security of players, fans and Stadium staff is the foundational element of every event held at Yankee Stadium, and it cannot be compromised."
The team urged fans to show their passion on Wednesday, but said that "the exuberance of supporting one's team can never cross the line into intentionally putting players at physical risk."
"The Yankees and Major League Baseball maintain a zero-tolerance policy toward the type of behavior displayed last night. These fans will not be permitted to attend tonight's game in any capacity."
The two fans will have to find somewhere else to watch Wednesday's game, as the Yankees will look to save their season once again. If the Yankees can win on Wednesday, they'll force a Game 6 back in Los Angeles, putting the pressure on the Dodgers to win the series at home.
