Lomachenko Granted Medical Exemption

One of the great pound for pound boxers of this era has received a significant update that has some implications.
He will now actually be able to hold onto his world title.
“The IBF have now officially granted Vasyl Lomachenko a medical exception which will allow him to retain his IBF lightweight world title. They have also ordered Zaur Abdullaev vs Raymond Muratalla for the IBF ‘interim’ belt, and Loma must fight the winner by Oct 8th.”
This means that some big fights maybe coming Lomachenko’s way this year.
Of course, there is a possibility that Gervonta Davis or Shakur Stevenson may want to fight him later in the year.
