Milwaukee Bucks wing Khris Middleton has been cleared to return to the play. However, Middleton is still in the ramp-up process to make his season debut. Middleton is returning from surgery on both ankles over the offseason.

The veteran wing was cleared some time ago, but is still working to physically feel ready to play in game. In recent weeks, Middleton has been doing more on-court and has been playing in 3-on-3 games.

Middleton's return to play has taken longer than many with the Bucks anticipated. However, the team continues to support Middleton in taking a slower approach to returning.

"He's looked good," Bucks coach Doc Rivers said of Middleton on Wednesday. "He's working his butt off. Listen, I think he's close. And he's just going to keep working. This is the best I've seen him, I will say that."
