Giddy-up! "Tuffy Nuff" Gallops To 111th Grey Cup in Vancouver For Special Appearances

CALGARY, Alberta – Yahoo! The 111th Grey Cup Festival is in Vancouver and the Calgary Grey Cup Committee will be celebrating our 76th year of Grey Cup festivals with our horse "Tuffy Nuff" – a tradition since 1948.

The 111th Grey Cup will be a showdown between the Toronto Argonauts and Winnipeg Blue Bombers at BC Place Stadium. However, "Tuffy Nuff," our most famous celebrity of the Calgary Grey Cup Committee, will be making some special appearances. As well visiting a hotel lobby, a tradition for 76 years, "Tuffy Nuff" will be heading down to Stamps House for the first time. We welcome media to join us for both events.

The Calgary Grey Cup Committee has been a Grey Cup tradition since 1948 when a group of Calgarians boarded a 14-car train in Calgary, bound for Toronto, to cheer on their Calgary Stampeders against the Ottawa Roughriders in Calgary's first Grey Cup appearance. Since that time, this group of volunteers has grown to more than 70 members bringing western hospitality to every Grey Cup annually.
