Madison Keys caused an upset in the Australian Open final by defeating the No 1 seed Aryna Sabalenka 6-3, 2-6, 7-5 to win her first grand slam title.

Keys dethroned the champion to become the oldest first-time winner of the women's singles title at Melbourne Park.
