The Diamonds have roared back to clinch a consolation win in the Constellation Cup series, overcoming New Zealand 63-50 in the fourth and final match in Melbourne.

After three disappointing losses and surrendering the Cup to their trans-Tasman rivals in Perth on Sunday, world champions Australia were able to prevent a clean sweep by the Silver Ferns.
